Franklin Adhesives & Polymers accomplished much in 2013, positioning ourselves for a successful 2014. We have set hefty goals for this new year, with key objectives to better meet your adhesive needs and continue on our quest to be the most trusted adhesion company in the world.

Our primary focus is on ramping up our polymer production to meet customer demand. We are significantly increasing reactor, formulation and storage capacity within our polymer production facility. This year, we will continue our expansion into the filter fabrication market. Our chemists will dedicate significant time to research and development, expanding the number of products for use on filter media to enhance particle entrapment and filtration efficiency. We will also enhance our PVA line for cardboard-wrapped air filters to offer long open time, high initial tack and easy cleanup.

We plan to commercialize additions to our Advantage line of wood adhesives for both domestic and international markets. Our Advantage family of products include high-performance one- and two-component cross-linking PVA adhesives for use in edge and face gluing, hot press veneering, hot press lamination, plywood, exterior grade finger joint stock and the manufacture of door and window components. New Advantage products will enable us to meet exacting requirements for additional applications.

Every year, we commit to maintaining excellent relationships with our suppliers. Through cooperative development projects, we are able to continuously improve our technology and products – and to better serve our many customers in the U.S. and around the world.
