Only those companies that “think big” can adequately serve and expand across the global market. Franklin International is one of those companies.
Consider our key goal – to be the most trusted adhesion company in the world” – alongside the fact that we successfully deliver a broad array of wood glues to 35 countries across the world. We generally set high goals for ourselves to meet equally tall customer expectations.
The goals we’ve established for 2014 are no different.
This year, the international division plans to strengthen our overall ability to serve our customers around the world by expanding our global distribution network. We will add strategically located, highly training distributors in emerging wood markets to provide the convenience of local product supply and support.
We also plan to broaden our product offering to include structural-grade wood adhesives for the growing building components market overseas. These products will be tested and certified to meet the most stringent international standards for performance. Our customers in these geographic markets can have full confidence in the quality of every one of these new products.
Similarly, we plan to introduce high-performing wood adhesives that meet the highest global standards for environmental safety. We have led the way in the development of “green” adhesives in the United States and will continue to take a leadership role globally.
We can follow, too – and will pursue United Nations’ initiated efforts for a Globally Harmonized System (GHS) to provide a universal chemical classification system. We are pleased to be working toward compliance with GHS.
The strong U.S. dollar can create a challenge for companies who export goods. However, we will strive to continue bringing high value to all our customers around the world, in 2014 and beyond.
