Franklin International Acquires Emulsion Adhesive Business from Hexion Inc.
March 31st, 2024 – Franklin International, a leading developer and manufacturer of Emulsion Polymers for Wood Assembly and Composites applications, agreed to acquire the Polyvinyl Acetate (PVA) adhesive and Emulsion Polymer Isocyanate (EPI) adhesive business from Hexion Inc. Included in the transaction is Hexion’s manufacturing site in Portland, Oregon.

We're thrilled to announce the expansion of our operations into the Pacific Northwest regions of the United States and Canada, thanks to the acquisition of the Portland, Oregon facility and the innovative technology Hexion has developed. We look forward to the opportunity to provide more value with the addition of Hexion’s PVA and EPI Emulsion technology to our distinguished portfolio of adhesives for Wood Assembly.”
